TITANIC SERIES

The DeAngelis Group, RAI, Future Films (UK), Play Productions (France), the Irish Film Authority, Wilshire Films (US), and The Fremantle Corporation are collaborating on the production of the landmark 12-hour television series, “Titanic: The Untold Story of How it All Began.”  Conceived by Fabrizio Del Noce, series tells the fascinating story of the birth of the world’s greatest ship.  Principal photography is scheduled to begin in May 2011 in Ireland where Titanic was built, with delivery in 2012 to coincide with the 100-year anniversary of Titanic’s maiden voyage (12 x 60’).

AFRICAN TELEVISION MARKET

DRAMA BY THE SEA

Set in a small fishing village called Playa Escondida, “Curse by the Sea” (aka “Mar de Amor”) tells the story of Estrella Marina, a rebellious young dreamer who was raised by her godparents, a humble family of fishermen. When she falls in love with Victor, it brings her into conflict with the most powerful man in the town, Leon Parra Montiel, a real villain who lives with his daughters, the arrogant Oriana and the gentle Elenita (164 x 60’).

MID-LIFE CRISIS?

In “Dr. Ravi & Mr. Hyde,” a quirky, independent comedy, a doctor’s search for divine fulfillment is thwarted by unscrupulous agents, reluctant colleagues, an unenthusiastic wife and more. INSIDE BUCHENWALD

Offering a chilling look into one of the most infamous Nazi death camps, “Histories of the Holocaust” is a new two-part documentary examining the events at Buchenwald. First part looks at the period from 1937 to 1942, where prisoners were savagely punished for the slightest infraction of the rules, while the second part covers 1942 to 1945, when Buchenwald became one of the primary instruments in executing “the final solution” (2 x 70’).

SEARCHING FOR NATURAL GAS

VACCINE CONTROVERSY

“The Vaccine War,” is an investigative report on growing concerns that the current child vaccination regimens may be causing health problems in young children. Program reports that young parents are concerned at the sheer number of shots—some 26 inoculations for 14 different diseases by age 6—while others contend that vaccines may be responsible for alarming increases in certain disorders, including ADHD and autism (60’).
